Avengers Spotlight #25

Hawkeye fills this 1989 Avengers Spotlight cover with unmistakable intensity — seen through a sniper's crosshairs, he draws an arrow directly at the reader while a distant figure lurks behind him, all framed by the chilling tagline "Who Marked the Marksman?…for Death?" The cover by Joe Jusko and Jackson Guice makes terrific use of that tight, point-of-view perspective, putting you squarely in the sights of Marvel's premier archer. A second storyline teased across the top — "Rick Jones vs. the Aliens?" — promises plenty of variety inside, with Howard Mackie writing and Allen Milgrom on interior art.
