End of Life #2 (2026)
Pugh broke into the industry in the early 1990s through DC's Vertigo imprint, contributing to Hellblazer — a title that would remain among his most credited work. A distinctive aspect of his craft is his habit of handling both penciling and inking himself, giving his pages a unified visual quality that sets him apart from artists who rely on separate inkers.
End of Life #3 (2026)
Over the course of his career, he has accumulated credits as artist, colorist, inker, letterer, and writer across more than 200 issues, demonstrating an unusually broad command of the production process. His most prominent body of work includes Animal Man, The Flintstones, All-New Invaders, Generation X, and the more recent Peacemaker Tries Hard! His range has extended to titles such as Blade, Doctor Strange, JLA, and X-Men, reflecting his versatility across genres and publishers.

At Marvel, he also contributed interior art to Star Trek Unlimited #8, illustrating the story segment titled "The Boy" as part of the larger tale "The Boy, The Warrior, and The Veteran."
With an active publishing record running from 1990 into 2026, Pugh remains a working presence in mainstream comics.
