With Lexor having withdrawn from the United Planets and their economy in ruins, Superman and Lois travel to Lexor on a mission to offer aid. As Lex fights to maintain his dictatorship over Lexor, X-99, in an attempt to help Lex, reactivates the Replicants only to have them turn against Lexor. Superman steps in to fight the Replicants, while Luthor sees an opportunity to strike against his foe.
