Book Four of Kyle Starks and Steve Pugh's DC Black Label series finds Peacemaker in a genuinely precarious spot — the cover by Kris Anka shows him sprinting away from an enormous, looming red geometric robot, a bearded older man in tow, weapon raised against the mechanical titan bearing down on them. Jordie Bellaire's warm, fiery palette gives the whole scene an urgent, almost cinematic glow that suits a hero who clearly bites off more than he can chew on a regular basis. If you've been following this irreverent series, this fourth chapter looks like it keeps the chaos dialed up in fine fashion.
