DC Vertigo's End of Life arrives with a cover by Gerald Parel that immediately sets a pulpy, kinetic tone — a grinning, red-goggled man with a cigarette dangling from his lip dominates the foreground alongside a smiling young woman, both armed, while chaos and silhouetted figures erupt in fiery red behind them. The casual confidence on their faces against that explosive backdrop suggests a story with plenty of dark humor and danger to spare.
