The Terminator #2
The second chapter of Dark Horse's four-part Terminator series puts the tension right in your face: a determined woman leaps through an explosion of shattering debris, revolver raised and aimed directly at the viewer, while a screaming man is pinned beneath her in the foreground and a second figure tumbles through the chaos behind her. Steve Pugh's cover art crackles with kinetic energy, packing the frame with flying fragments and overlapping bodies in a way that makes the action feel genuinely relentless. Writer Alan Grant and artist Steve Pugh were clearly hitting their stride by issue two of this 1998 miniseries.
