“Four Days 1 of 4”

In "Four Days 1 of 4," the Gen X team takes a rare break in New York, where Chamber strikes up an unexpected connection with a goth girl at a record store—she’s deaf, and he can speak directly into her mind. As they bond over music and shared isolation, Jono grapples with his own fears, wary of opening up despite the growing connection. Written by Brian Wood and illustrated by Steve Pugh, with inks by Jimmy Palmiotti, Bob Wiacek, and Pugh, and colors by Kevin Somers, this issue captures quiet moments of connection amid the chaos. The cover by Arthur Adams perfectly frames the emotional undercurrent of the story.
