Greg Weisman

Greg Weisman was born on September 28, 1963, in the United States. He is best known as the creator of the animated series *Gargoyles*, *The Spectacular Spider-Man*, and *Young Justice*, and also served as a producer on the second season of *W.I.T.C.H.*. His path into comics began in the late 1980s, and he has been credited as a writer on over 120 issues, with his most frequent work appearing in titles such as *Captain Atom*, *Young Justice*, *Gargoyles*, *The Fall and Rise of Captain Atom*, *Starbrand and Nightmask*, and *Gargoyles: Dark Ages*. Weisman’s signature style blends intricate serialized storytelling with a deep respect for character continuity, often weaving together superhero action with mythic and literary influences. He has collaborated with artists like Mike Manley, Christopher Jones, and Amanda Conner on various projects.
