From the point of view of a glowing infant reaching upward, five figures loom into frame — a massive purple gargoyle, a wide-eyed dark-haired woman in red, a golden-armored female gargoyle with wings spread, a sturdy human man, and a blue gargoyle with mouth agape — creating an immediate sense of wonder and urgency on David Nakayama's striking cover. Titled "Here in Manhattan, Chapter Three: Miracle Child," this third issue from Dynamite promises that whatever surrounds this mysterious child has the whole clan on high alert. Writer Greg Weisman and artist George Kambadais continue their revival of the beloved Disney series, and the tension radiating from every face on this cover makes it clear the story is building toward something genuinely compelling.
