About the series

In the late 1990s, DC's Vertigo imprint unleashed Preacher, a sprawling, violent, and darkly comedic epic from writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon. The series follows Jesse Custer, a small-town preacher who becomes possessed by a cosmic entity and, alongside his ex-girlfriend Tulip O'Hare and the hard-living Irish vampire Cassidy, embarks on a cross-country road trip in search of a missing God.
