Preacher #33
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeGlenn Fabry's cover for Preacher #33 puts a fierce, determined woman front and center — crouched low among grave markers in what appears to be a nighttime cemetery, pistol raised and expression hardened into a snarl that signals she is very much not the one to corner. The moody blues and greens of the graveyard backdrop, with twisted branches overhead and stone angels lurking in shadow, give the image a grim, atmospheric tension that Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's Vertigo series does so well. "Price Of Night" promises exactly the kind of dangerous, morally charged storytelling that made Preacher one of the defining mature-readers titles of the 1990s.
