Preacher #15

Part three of the "Hunters" arc arrives in this July 1996 Vertigo series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, with a Glenn Fabry cover that packs in a genuinely unsettling crowd of characters. Dominating the foreground is a pale, white-haired figure in a leopard-spotted collar and purple cape, cigarette in hand, surrounded by a gallery of rough-looking individuals — a masked wrestler, a sneering woman with gold teeth, a stone-faced man, and a scowling figure nursing a martini among others. Fabry's hyper-detailed painted style gives the whole assemblage a lurid carnival atmosphere perfectly suited to Preacher's wild, irreverent tone.
