Part two of the seven-part "Alamo" arc arrives with a cover by Glenn Fabry that commands attention: a weathered, fierce face fills the frame almost entirely, those cold blue eyes radiating a hard-edged intensity that's become synonymous with this Vertigo series. At the bottom of the image, a scattering of small skeletons hints at the mortal stakes surrounding this figure. With Garth Ennis writing and Steve Dillon on interior art, Preacher #60 continues one of 2000's most compelling ongoing sagas — grim, gripping, and impossible to look away from.
