Part three of "War in the Sun" arrives in this April 1998 installment of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's mature-readers series from DC Vertigo. Glenn Fabry's painted cover pulls two figures front and center — a steely-eyed man leveling a revolver directly at the viewer while a smiling blonde woman looks on from just behind him, her easy confidence a striking contrast to his grim intensity. It's a tension-loaded image that captures the series' signature mix of danger and dark charm perfectly.
