Glenn Fabry's cover for Preacher #48 is a masterclass in grotesque portraiture — a hideously disfigured figure in a suit looms close, his bulging exposed eye and grotesquely swollen, balloon-like nose rendered in visceral, almost photorealistic detail, his bloodied fingers clutching near his face.
