Paris Cullins, born in 1960, is an American comic book artist whose clean, energetic linework defined a number of DC and Marvel titles in the 1980s and 1990s. He is best known for co-creating the DC character Blue Devil, and for his defining runs on *Blue Beetle* and the Marvel Razorline imprint’s *Hyperkind*. Cullins entered the industry in 1982, quickly establishing himself as a reliable penciller and inker on anthology titles such as *House of Mystery*. His style—fluid, expressive, and well-suited to both superhero action and supernatural adventure—made him a frequent collaborator with writers like Dan Mishkin and Gary Cohn. Together, they launched the *Blue Devil* series in 1984, introducing the stuntman-turned-demon hero. Cullins also contributed to *Wonder Woman* and *New Gods*, and his career extended into the 2000s, with credits spanning nearly four decades until 2021. While he never received major industry awards, his work on *Blue Devil* and *Blue Beetle* remains fondly remembered by fans of DC’s mid-1980s expansion. Cullins’s legacy is that of a steady, inventive artist who helped shape the visual identity of several cult-favorite characters.
