“Hooray for Hollywood!”

Hollywood gets a little hotter in June 1985 as Blue Devil #13 takes the action to Tinsel Town, where the cover — penciled and inked by Paris Cullins — shows Blue Devil surging forward through a wall of flame, trident raised high, while the fearsome Demon crouches snarling at his feet. Zatanna gestures desperately to stop the chaos and Green Lantern swoops in from behind, making for one seriously crowded street corner with bystanders scrambling in every direction. With "Hooray for Hollywood!" as the story's title and a tagline promising all three guest stars, this issue has a wonderfully chaotic energy that feels like the mid-'80s DC universe firing on all cylinders.
