Comics Parade #13
"Envoyez les clowns" delivers a sharp, morally complex tale from Marv Wolfman, with Paris Cullins' dynamic art brought to life by inks from Rick Magyar and Karl Kesel, and vibrant colors by Tatjana Wood. When the Vigilante intercepts the Electrocutioner targeting a child pornography ring, the confrontation spirals into a darker conflict—pitting the vigilante against a circus clown who turned to crime to save his wife, with the Electrocutioner now hunting him and the clown’s fellow performers joining the fray.
In "Envoyez les clowns," the Vigilante confronts the Electrocutioner during a deadly purge of a child pornography ring, only to find the criminal’s next target is a circus clown who robbed a bank to save his wife’s life. As the clown’s fellow performers rally to protect him, the Vigilante finds himself caught between justice and mercy, facing a killer who may not be the only monster in the ring.
In "null," Rik confronts Annie aboard Draken's ship, accusing her of betrayal, but the team hesitates to abandon her. As tensions rise, Temple defies Gager’s orders to warn Earth of Karvus Khun’s looming invasion, setting a desperate course toward salvation.
In "Finale de sang," the Sun Devils, having halted the Starcrusher’s self-destruct sequence, stand down from Gager’s war—no longer soldiers, but fugitives. Now stranded on a distant world, they must decide what comes next, their loyalty tested and their future uncertain.
