The five members of the Forever People cluster together on this vivid March 1988 cover, their expressions ranging from alarm to defiance as menacing shadow creatures with glowing red eyes close in around them from every direction. It's a striking image — the team's bold, colorful costumes popping against the dark, encroaching threats — brought to life by cover pencils from Paris Cullins and inks by Karl Kesel. DeMatteis, Cullins, and Kesel's run on these New Gods characters was shaping up to be something special, and "From Earth to Forever!" promises exactly the kind of cosmic tension this cover delivers.
