Ben Oliver

Ben Oliver is a British comics artist best known for his clean, atmospheric linework and muted color palettes on superhero and action titles. He was born in 2000. His path into comics began in the early 2000s, with early work for the anthology *2000 AD* on *Judge Dredd*. He soon moved to American publishers, providing art for *The Authority*, *The Losers*, and *Ultimate X-Men*. Oliver’s style is marked by precise figure work, restrained detail, and a cinematic sense of composition. He has collaborated with writers such as Brian K. Vaughan and Mark Millar. Among his notable co-creations is the series *Sword Daughter* with writer Brian Wood. Over his career, Oliver has worked on *Alpha Flight*, *Vigilante*, *Batwing*, and *Death to the Army of Darkness!* He has also served as colorist and inker on many of his own projects. Later in his career, he has continued to work in the industry, with credits spanning from 2000 to 2025. Oliver’s contributions have been recognized with multiple industry awards, including Eisner and Harvey nominations.
