Batman: Fear State Saga #[nn]
In "Fear State Alpha," Batman takes personal charge of transporting Scarecrow to Arkham Tower, turning the journey into a tense, philosophical exchange about the aftermath of the city-wide chaos. As Gotham grapples with the fallout—Miracle Molly behind bars, the Unsanity Collective vanished, Simon Saint working under government oversight, Peacekeeper-01 still at large, and Ivy’s uneasy reunion with Harley—Batman confronts Crane about the future of Gotham’s most dangerous minds. Written by James Tynion IV and illustrated by Riccardo Federici, Christian Duce, Ryan Benjamin, Guillem March, and Trevor Hairsine, with inks by Federici, Duce, Benjamin, March, and Hairsine, colors by Chris Sotomayor, and letters by Clayton Cowles, the issue’s cover by Ben Oliver captures the weight of the moment.
