“In Darkness Waiting”

"In Darkness Waiting" delivers a tense, character-driven dive into the mind of Vigilante, as writer Bruce Jones and artist Ben Oliver explore the blurred lines between justice and obsession. With a moody, grounded tone, the story unfolds through a series of intimate moments—Justin’s therapy session with the enigmatic vigilante, a fragile date with Rene, and a chilling midnight visit that unsettles both romance and resolve. The haunting atmosphere is heightened by Ben Oliver’s expressive art and Carrie Strachan’s subtle colors, while Michael Golden’s cover captures the issue’s brooding intensity.
