Clive Barker brings his singular imagination to comics with this first issue from Boom! Studios, and the cover alone signals something genuinely otherworldly. A colossal, luminous being — its enormous hands framing the composition — looms over a lone, silhouetted human figure standing in a beam of brilliant light, the whole image awash in swirling psychedelic color courtesy of cover artists Mark Miller and Haemi Jang. It's a striking opening statement for a series that promises the cosmic scale and unsettling wonder Barker's work is known for.
