DC Vertigo's American Carnage #2 brings Bryan Hill's unflinching crime series roaring into its second chapter, with Ben Oliver delivering a cover image that pulls no punches — a badly beaten man, bloodied and bruised, stares out from beneath a revolver pressed to his temple, the hand gripping it bearing a chilling SS tattoo. The composition is raw and uncomfortably close, placing the reader right in the middle of a very dangerous situation.
