Tom Sniegoski

Tom Sniegoski is an American novelist and comic book writer, born in 1962 in Massachusetts. He is best known for his extensive work in licensed comics, particularly on *Angel*, *Buffy the Vampire Slayer*, and *Vampirella*—including runs on *Vengeance of Vampirella* and *Vampirella Strikes*. His path into comics began in the early 1990s, and he quickly became a prolific writer, credited on over 140 issues across series for Marvel, DC, and independent publishers. Sniegoski’s style blends dark fantasy with sharp dialogue, often exploring supernatural themes and character-driven horror. He collaborated frequently with artist Christopher Golden, co-creating the *Buffy* spin-off *Angel* comic series and the *The Herculoids* revival for DC.
