The series was announced in April 2025 as a direct continuation of Vampirella Strikes!, with Sniegoski describing the creative reunion as natural and comfortable given his long prior relationship with the character. Kewber Baal was the series' original interior artist (issues #1–#6 at minimum), with Edu Menna stepping in for the later issues including #10; colorist Adriano Augusto and letterer Jeff Eckleberry rounded out the final-issue credits. The arc's central cosmological framework — Lords of Chaos and Order battling for universal control while Vampirella is trapped in Hell — was seeded from issue #1 and escalated methodically across all ten installments.
