Vampirella Armageddon #11
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeVampirella: Armageddon #11 represents the narrative pivot-point of Tom Sniegoski's long-running Sepulcher City saga — the issue in which the fully realized Dark Vampirella is unleashed and Hell itself is depicted as trembling before her, pushing the Daughter of Drakulon into her most psychologically extreme state to date. As the penultimate chapter of a twelve-issue series, it shoulders the weight of escalating every cosmic thread Sniegoski has woven since the opening of Vampirella Strikes!, forcing readers to genuinely question whether the heroic version of the character can ever return. Within the broader context of Vampirella's publishing history at Dynamite — a run stretching back to 2010 and encompassing hundreds of issues — the Armageddon arc represents one of the publisher's most sustained attempts to put the character through an irreversible-feeling transformation, giving #11 a structural importance beyond its page count.

The Armageddon series launched in July 2025 as a direct continuation of Sniegoski's Vampirella Strikes! run, with Sniegoski — who has described returning to the character as 'like slipping into a nice warm sweater' — re-teaming with Dynamite for another extended arc set in the post-apocalyptic future city of Sepulcher City. The series opened with artist Kewber Baal on interiors, with colorist Omi Remalante Jr. establishing the book's visual tone; by the time the arc moved into its second half (issues #7 onward), Edu Menna had taken over interior art duties and carried through to the finale. Issue #11 itself, the sixth chapter of the arc's second half, shipped May 27, 2026, placing it squarely in the climactic stretch of what became a twelve-issue run that concluded in June 2026.
