Armed with the Encephalon's transfer of the Klaturians' ages old storehouse of knowledge, the Herculoids search for the fleeing ship of Dorno's kidnappers, the Shaitan, locate the craft thanks to Zok's senses, and board it. Aided by Dorno's resistance to the Shaitan's process of assimilation, the Herculoids overcome the Shaitan's forces, retrieve the boy, and return home to Amzot... where a new surprise awaits them.
