The Herculoids #1

Dynamite's 2025 revival of the beloved Hanna-Barbera property kicks off with a cover by Francesco Mattina that assembles the full Herculoids in breathtaking fashion — the massive gorilla-like Tundro looms overhead, the horned dragon Zok swoops in from the right, glowing energy creatures coil at the center, and a winged fairy figure rides above while pterodactyls fill the sky. At the heart of it all, a shield-bearing warrior and a blonde woman stand their ground, surrounded by this remarkable menagerie of protectors. Writer Tom Sniegoski and artist Craig Rousseau promise an adventure worthy of the title "Protectors of Amzot," and this first issue looks like a genuinely exciting way to welcome the Herculoids back to comics.
