The Dollz #1 (2001) introduces a chilling new chapter in the series, as the Dollmaker sends his newest creation, Baby, into the city to join her sisters. With a monster threatening the streets, the Dollz must test Baby’s strength—only she proves capable of standing against the beast. Meanwhile, Agent Joe hunts for Senator Newman’s missing daughter, unaware she’s been drawn into the sinister grip of the Church of the Most Holy Transformation. Written by Randy Green and Tom Sniegoski, with art by Randy Green and inks by Rick Ketcham, the issue’s haunting tone is elevated by Dave Stewart’s colors and Dreamer Design’s lettering, all wrapped in a cover by Green and Ketcham.
