Nunzio DeFilippis is an American comic book, television, and podcast writer best known for his collaborative work with his wife, Christina Weir. Born in the United States, he met Weir while both were students at Vassar College, and the couple soon became a prolific writing team. DeFilippis’s career in comics is most strongly associated with the X-Men franchise, particularly runs on *New X-Men* and *New Mutants*, as well as the spin-off series *New X-Men: Hellions*. Outside of Marvel, he co-created the original series *Amazing Agent Luna* and the graphic novel *Three Strikes*. His writing, often focused on young characters discovering their identities and powers, is noted for its character-driven warmth. DeFilippis and Weir also worked on *Marvel Select Flip Magazine*. Later in his career, he expanded into podcasting and television writing. He remains active in the industry, with a body of work that has earned a dedicated following for its consistent, heartfelt storytelling.
