New X-Men: Academy X Yearbook #1

The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning gets its own yearbook treatment in this 2005 Marvel special, with a cover by Aaron Lopresti and Norm Rapmund depicting five young mutant students — all sporting gold-and-black X-uniforms — posed together on the cover of an oversized school yearbook. It's a warm, clever concept that frames the New X-Men cast as real students with real school memories, and writers Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir lean into that energy with a story titled "Campfire."
