Furious and desperate, he uncovers a hidden scroll tied to the mysterious "Kingmaker," and with the help of his teammates, performs a ritual using a cellphone to summon the enigmatic figure. The next morning, the Kingmaker arrives, offering each of them a single wish—setting the stage for choices that could change everything.
In "Fortune & Glory Part Two," the Hellions face a dangerous test of desire when Kingmaker offers each of them a wish—if they’ll sign a contract. Tasted through fleeting visions, their deepest hopes become real for a moment: Rockslide in the ring, Mercury embraced by her parents, Wither free of his power, Dust reunited with her mother, Hellion hailed as a hero, and Tag’s influence spreading. Now, with the dream’s glow fading, Kingmaker calls them back to decide if the price is worth the prize.
In "Fortune & Glory," Hellion and his team are thrust into a high-stakes mission when Kingmaker manipulates their deepest desires, sending them to the Gentassist labs to seize a mysterious briefcase. With Paladin and Diamondback also closing in, the Hellions must fight their way through deception and danger—only to face a shocking truth about the briefcase’s true nature. Despite the revelations, Hellion chooses to deliver it to Kingmaker, sealing their fate in ways no one expected.
In "Fortune & Glory Conclusion," the Hellions confront the cost of their loyalty when Julian refuses to hand over the weapon Kingmaker demanded—only to find themselves suddenly free, yet abandoned. With their contracts dissolved and their power source gone, they must decide what they truly want, leading them to reclaim the weapon and turn it over to Nick Fury, who finds it already inert. Emma’s warning to Kingmaker echoes as the group charts a new course, no longer bound by his promises.
