Part of DC's 2005 Infinite Crisis crossover event, this issue of Adventures of Superman arrives with a cover by Karl Kerschl that puts the Man of Steel front and center — fists clenched, cape billowing, his expression steeled for serious trouble. Looming behind him is a massive, sneering Lex Luthor alongside a dark, glowing-eyed figure that adds an unsettling edge to the threat. With Greg Rucka, Nunzio DeFilippis, and Christina Weir on the script and Karl Kerschl contributing interior art as well, "Breaking Point" looks like a tense chapter in one of DC's most ambitious crossover events of the decade.
