Miller is perhaps best recognized for his extensive contributions to DC's Injustice: Gods Among Us universe, the series tied to the popular fighting video game that reimagines DC's heroes and villains in a darker, morally complex alternate timeline. His work across multiple volumes of that franchise — including Injustice: Gods Among Us, Injustice: Gods Among Us Year Five, and Injustice 2 — made him one of the more consistently present artists in that corner of DC's output. He also contributed significantly to DC Universe Online Legends and The Hedge Knight, an adaptation of George R.R. Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg prequel stories. Across more than 150 credited issues active through 2020, Miller built a body of work characterized by high-energy superhero storytelling and adaptable visual range suited to both licensed properties and original projects.
