Part three of "Terror Incognita" arrives with a cover that's genuinely hard to look away from — a snarling, white-masked creature looms enormous in the foreground, seemingly overwhelming Superman himself, while Flash, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman are battered by energy blasts under a massive dark shape overhead, all surrounded by a horde of monstrous figures. Bryan Hitch's pencils and Paul Neary's inks give the scene a relentless, cinematic weight that makes the subtitle "The Vanquished" feel entirely earned. With Mark Waid writing and Mike S. Miller on interior art, this penultimate chapter looks like essential reading for any fan of the League at its most embattled.
