In this pivotal second issue of The Hedge Knight, George R. R. Martin and Ben Avery deliver a richly drawn chapter in the journey of Dunk, a young knight in training, as he takes on a squire—Egg—and faces new challenges on his path to honor. With Mike S. Miller’s evocative art and Mike Crowell’s sharp inks bringing the world to life, Dunk navigates a series of tense encounters, from a mistaken identity with the noble Aerion to a quiet moment watching Tanselle’s puppet show, all while striving to earn his place in a looming tournament. The cover by Mike S. Miller captures the story’s gritty, determined spirit.
