Dynamite's adaptation of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire rolls into its seventh chapter with a striking cover by Mike S. Miller — a dark-haired warrior woman, draped in a purple gown and crowned with a white lion's head, rides a pale horse through an open field while a dragon perches watchfully on her shoulder. The imagery crackles with the series' trademark blend of wild beauty and latent danger, rendered here with sharp detail and vivid color. With Landry Q. Walker scripting, Mel Rubi on art, and Ivan Nunes bringing the palette to life, this 2017 issue is a handsome entry in one of comics' most ambitious literary adaptations.
