Part II of Dynamite's A Clash of Kings adaptation continues with a cover by Mike S. Miller that pulls no punches — a young girl recoils in alarm in a dimly lit stone passage while a horrified woman behind her clutches her own face in shock, and a red-cloaked guard presses nervously against the wall, all of them confronted by the grisly sight of a severed head in the foreground. It's a tense, unsettling composition that captures the dangerous world George R.R. Martin built, brought to sequential life here by writer Landry Q. Walker and artist Mel Rubi.
