Dynamite's adaptation of George R.R. Martin's A Clash of Kings continues with this 2020 fifth issue, bringing the world of the HBO series to the comics page with striking cover art penciled and inked by Mike S. Miller. The cover places three figures clad in the heavy black cloaks of the Night's Watch against a backdrop of towering ice — a young dark-haired woman faces a bald, bearded elder who rests a hand on her shoulder, while an armored, fur-collared warrior stands at his side, a raven perched ominously nearby. With interior work from writer Landry Q. Walker, artist Mel Rubi, colorist Ivan Nunes, and letterer Tom Napolitano, this is a handsomely crafted entry in one of the most ambitious fantasy adaptations in comics.
