Born Duk Hyun Cho in 1971, Frank Cho is a Korean-American cartoonist and illustrator who built his reputation equally in newspaper strips and mainstream superhero comics. He is perhaps best recognized for *Liberty Meadows*, a long-running strip and subsequent comic series centered on a quirky animal sanctuary that showcased his gift for comedy, precise linework, and confident figure drawing.

Cho's path into professional comics stretched from the mid-1990s through a remarkably productive run lasting nearly three decades, with credits across more than 190 issues between 1996 and 2024. His Marvel work brought him wider visibility, particularly on *Shanna the She-Devil*, *Mighty Avengers*, *Hulk*, and *Savage Wolverine* — projects that allowed him to lean into the dynamic, carefully rendered anatomy for which he became known. He also created *Jungle Girl* for Dynamite Entertainment and wrote and drew *Skybourne* and *Fight Girls*, demonstrating sustained interest in action-adventure stories built around strong, physically expressive characters.

Throughout his career, Cho has been consistently recognized for his classical approach to draftsmanship — clean, controlled lines and a deliberate attention to human form — qualities that set him apart from much of contemporary superhero illustration and earned him a devoted readership across both the comics and newspaper-strip audiences.
