Fifteen years ago, Klaw attempts to assassinated T'Chaka, King of Wakanda. He manages to kill the King and T'Chaka's eldest son, but is badly injured in the battle and flees. Later the Belgian government augments Klaw with sonic technology. In the present day, Klaw assembles his team and gains the backing of the Nigandan dictator, M'Butu.
