Jungle Girl #3

Dynamite's Jungle Girl #3 puts its fierce, tooth-necklaced heroine front and center as she stands her ground against a menacing crowd of tribal warriors armed with spears — a severed head raised aloft in the background making clear just how dire the odds are. Frank Cho's cover linework crackles with raw energy, filling every inch with snarling faces, crude weapons, and a palpable sense of encirclement. With Doug Murray and Adriano Batista rounding out the creative team, this 2007 series was clearly swinging for pulp-adventure spectacle and landing it.
