Liberty Meadows #4

Frank Cho's Liberty Meadows gets a Dutch-language collection treatment with this 2017 Don Lawrence Collection edition, subtitled Bijsluiter Niet Inbegrepen ("Instructions Not Included"). The cover, pencilled and inked by Cho himself, gathers the gang under a shady tree: the dark-haired Brandy reads a Dutch newspaper trumpeting the comics boom, while the rotund Frank, a green creature, a parrot, and a dachshund lounge around her amid scattered color-chart booklets. It's a warm, self-aware snapshot of the Liberty Meadows ensemble at their most cheerfully chaotic.
