Black Panther #18
Part five of the "Bride of the Panther" arc arrives wrapped in a Civil War: Cease-Fire banner, and Frank Cho's cover sets the scene beautifully — Black Panther, regal in his full cowl and flowing cape, strides forward alongside a radiant Storm in ceremonial bridal attire, rose petals drifting around them beneath a glowing full moon. Flanking the couple are a flower-crowned bridesmaid clutching a bouquet of roses, a watching woman in green, and — intriguingly — Iron Man and Captain America observing from opposite edges of the frame, a quiet reminder that this royal celebration exists in the shadow of Marvel's superhero conflict. Written by Reginald Hudlin with interior art by Scot Eaton and Klaus Janson, this 2006 issue promises grand pageantry with a storm of its own brewing just offstage.
