Liberty Meadows #33

Frank Cho's beloved animal sanctuary comic delivers a cover that says it all with a grin: a very large, irritated cow — wearing a red collar and carrying a baseball bat — looms over the series' dark-haired heroine as she nervously nibbles a burger from a "Beef Hut" bag. The tagline "The cow is back!" makes the tension delightfully clear, and Cho's warm, expressive linework gives every glare and guilty bite exactly the right comic weight. Issue #33 looks like a thoroughly entertaining entry in this charming 2003 series from Image.
