Shanna, the She-Devil #4

Frank Cho's cover for issue four of this seven-part limited series puts Shanna front and center — barefoot, battle-scarred, and armed with a rifle and a sheathed blade, standing resolute over the bodies of fallen pterosaur-like creatures as smaller winged beasts lurk at her feet. The image captures her as a warrior fully in her element, surrounded by the strange prehistoric flora and fauna of a lost world. With "The Killing Season Part Four" underway at the series' midpoint, this is a fine showcase for Cho's detailed, confident linework.
