Miraculix
Miraculix is the druid of a small Gaulish village in the Asterix comic series, famous for brewing the magic strength potion that keeps his people safe from Roman conquest. Published in German editions by Egmont Ehapa, he first appeared in 1967.
Few comics characters can claim nearly six decades of continuous publishing life, but Miraculix — who first appeared in 1967, brought to life by the legendary duo René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo — has done exactly that. A Silver Age creation with genuine staying power, Miraculix is most at home in the pages of Asterix, Asterix Mundart, and Asterix-Büchlein, published through Egmont Ehapa, with 174 catalog appearances and four collector-recognized key issues to their name. Along the way, Miraculix shares adventures with a wonderfully vivid cast — including Idefix, Julius Cäsar, Rotbart, and Automatix — making for some of the most beloved pages in European comics history. Whether you're a lifelong fan or just discovering the world of Asterix, Miraculix is an enduring presence well worth seeking out.
