Asterix Mundart #9
This is the ninth volume in Egmont Ehapa's 'Asterix Mundart' series, which presents the classic Asterix adventures translated into various German dialects. 'Auf geht's zu de Gotn!' is the dialect version of 'Asterix and the Goths', rendered here in a regional German vernacular. The story follows Asterix and Obelix as they journey into Germania to rescue their druid Miraculix from the clutches of the Goths, featuring many of the familiar characters from the village and beyond in their dialect-named forms.
Asterix Mundart #9, published in 1997 by Egmont Ehapa, features the familiar cast of Appelmus, Asterix, Barometrix, Bartrik, Cholerik, Elektrik, Fidibus, and Florix in a humorous adventure drawn by Albert Uderzo, with writing by René Goscinny. The story, titled "Auf geht's zu de Gotn!", continues the series' tradition of playful satire and whimsical village life. The cover, also by Albert Uderzo, captures the lighthearted tone of the issue.
