Asterix Mundart #[94]
This fourth volume in the Asterix Mundart series presents the adventures of Asterix and Obelix in the Saxon dialect of German. Published by Egmont Ehapa as part of their ongoing dialect collection, it features the beloved Gaulish villagers including Majestix, Miraculix, and the ever-present Idefix, all rendered in the distinctive regional speech patterns of Saxony.
In "Hühm wie Drühm," Asterix and his fellow villagers find themselves entangled in a peculiar situation involving Automatix, Baba, Dreifuß, Erdnus, Grüblerine, Grünix, and Grünspanix, all navigating the quirks of their uniquely named world. Albert Uderzo, serving as writer, artist, inker, and colorist, brings his signature style to this 2024 installment from Egmont Ehapa. The cover, also by Uderzo, captures the whimsical tone of the story.
